Jimmy had his first sleepover. It was on the Sunday night before Labor Day. My Mom has Monday's off so while we were at Kristin's Sunday night celebrating the Labor Day weekend and Lindsay going through the temple on Saturday Mom asked Jimmy if he could spend the night. Of course he said yes!!! We were very concerned that he wouldn't sleep because he is a sleep in is own bed and no where else kind of kid. We didn't get him over to Mom's until 10:30 at night. It was raining and cold. He actually slept. Wow!!! It took him awhile to wind down. They read books and scriptures and Mom told him a Jimmy animal story and she tucked him in to the hide-a-bed in her living room. She said he got up twice, once to just say hello and another to say his sleeping bag was to hot, so they put TV Bunny (I don't know why he named his stuffed rabbit that, something to do with Hailey I think) and Bearby (his stuffed bear we got from Artic Circle a year ago, the thing kids get attached to) in the sleeping bag and Jimmy slept under the blanket Mom won at the Davis Cup Marching Band competition last year. He did go to sleep after that and was up at his normal 7:00 in the morning. So now we know he can sleep overnight at someone else's house. I wasn't worried about him at all, because he was with My Mom. He actually did start Kindergarten this week and he is loving it. They are doing color days and he has to wear the color of the day and the read a story, sing a song, and have a snack about the color of the day. He loves Miss Paul. I love her too. She is very soft spoken and organized.
I can't get Jimmy to stop making faces when I take his picture.
This is better but his eyes are closed.
He looks like he is in acute pain in this picture and he wouldn't let me take another, because the sun was shining in his eyes.Michael driving the Pimpmobile on the way to Leah's.
Cindy vamping.
These were in the building with the Senior Citizen's displays. Who knew you could do that with your money.
Chelsea, Hailey and Jimmy looking at a pig. The Petting Zoo was closed when we were over there.
Then we went to a lame Logging Show. They were mostly interested in telling bad jokes.
Here are the kids on the motorcycles.
You can see Hailey's head (in front) and Jimmy's head on the Dragon Coaster.
Jimmy and I on the Tilt-A-Whirl. It mad us both sick to our stomachs.
Chelsea on the Tilt-A-Whirl. You can't see Hailey sitting next to her. The loved it.
Jimmy on the turtles.
On the Heart ride. Of course its Pink.

Eric cutting the French Bread I made in my Bread Maker. What a man!!!
For some reason while Eric is mowing the lawn Jimmy has to tromp along behind him in the freshly mowed path in his snow boots. I don't know why. Its just one of those Jimmy things. This is the beginning of the camping saga. It started with Cindy going camping with her friends Adam and Anna at Bear Lake. They spent Thursday night in Cindy's car, because it was raining. We were discussing their camping trip and Eric made on of those off comments that come back to bite you. He said that he and Jimmy had not set the tent up in the backyard yet this summer. Well, guess what. He set the tent up, plus an extra. He had to go get his little two man dome tent that had been existing at Kristin's old house and then moved with her. Mom came over to watch the Olympic Opening Ceremonies (which were out of this world) she told me to call Cindy and see how they were doing. They were packing up to come home, because it was going to rain again. It was about 8:30 at night. Mom made one of those off comments and said they should sleep in our backyard instead of going home and sleeping in their own beds. They only had a small two man tent with them, so I don't know how they would have slept in it up at Bear Lake anyway. Eric trooped up to his parents and borrowed their Big Dome Tent for the kids to sleep in. Jimmy was bouncing off the ceilings about sleeping in a tent. You know how little kids are. I have a cold and there was no way I was sleeping in a tent, so I escaped the fun. It was Eric's idea. Cindy and friends got here at about 11:00 and went right to sleep. I wish I could say the same for Jimmy. He would wake up at every little sound and I think he came in and went to the bathroom 5 times. When it started to get light out at 5:30 he told Eric it was time to get up. Eric then dragged Jimmy back inside and we made him go to sleep in his own bed. He slept until about 8:30. Cindy and company didn't hear any of the goings on with Jimmy and their tent was almost on top of Eric's. They got up and made us breakfast which was very nice. What an adventure.
The Tents in the dark. I'm surprised out how well the pictures turned out. We have tarps under the tents, because we are still trying to figure out what our lawn likes and we went from killing our grass to a swamp in the backyard.
Eric and Jimmy slept in the little tent and Cindy and friends in the big tent.
Jimmy's ready!!!
