Frontrunner

Salt Lake City now has a Commuter Rail from Salt Lake all the way to Ogden. They were doing free rides on it, so Mom and Cindy and Jimmy and I decided to ride. We went south from Layton to Salt Lake. On the way down there was standing room only and we couldn't see out of the windows. Jimmy of course tried to be cranky about standing so he ended up sitting on my foot which didn't help me to balance as the train rolled along. It stopped in Farmington, Woods Cross and then Salt Lake. We just stayed on the Train because it switched to northbound. Kind of like a push me pull you. We were able to sit down, most of the people got off to do lunch in Salt Lake. We were able to see out of the windows and it was fun to see the scenery go by. We even saw Grandma and Grandpa Clark's old house in Woods Cross. We were thinking of riding up to Ogden and then back, but Jimmy had to go to the bathroom and I was scared of the bathrooms on the train, plus there was a line, so we exited at Layton. It was fun and now we can say we rode Frontrunner. Ready to Go
Jimmy was worried because I dropped them off and then went to find a parking spot and he didn't think I would make it in time. Never fear, we waited about 10 minutes.

Don't we look thrilled?

Shiny new train tracks.

Layton's station.

We finally get to sit down. Goodbye Frontrunner.

Wow! It didn't take you long to post those pictures! But you're supposed to leave the pictures of me off!

Thank you for humoring the old Grandma and going on the train with me. It was fun, even if we couldn't get Cindy to flirt with the cute boy standing by us. Too bad he ended up moving (it's all Cindy's fault).

Love,
Mom (Grandma)

I love this post! I need to post some pictures of the light rail in Charlotte that we rode on. Its basically the same thing. Thats cool. We ride on it now every time we need to go uptown. Saves on gas and Brian's road rage. Love the pictures of mom since I never see her since she avoids them. I shouldn't say to much because I avoid them to.

love
Leah

Jimmy's having all sorts of fun with trains & tractors! The Frontrunner reminds me of the Metro going into DC. Oh, and Happy New Haircut!
