Birthday at the Davis County Fair

It is becoming kind of strange tradition for our family to attend the Davis County Fair every year. I don't know why, because its mostly pathetic. Jimmy loves it though. We went on my birthday this year. I was depressed, because I couldn't be out in South Carolina with my twin, so I decided I wanted to go to the fair and the Demolition Derby that night. I asked Eric if he could take the afternoon off and he ended up getting the whole day off. I love his boss. Jimmy and Eric gave me Sees Chocolates (yummy) and a book called Home by Julie Andrews about her childhood up to the birth of her first daughter. I loved it. The Miller family decided to join us at the fair. We met at about 4:00 and the fun began. These were in the building with the Senior Citizen's displays. Who knew you could do that with your money.
Chelsea, Hailey and Jimmy looking at a pig. The Petting Zoo was closed when we were over there.
Then we went to a lame Logging Show. They were mostly interested in telling bad jokes.
Here are the kids on the motorcycles.
You can see Hailey's head (in front) and Jimmy's head on the Dragon Coaster.
Jimmy and I on the Tilt-A-Whirl. It mad us both sick to our stomachs.
Chelsea on the Tilt-A-Whirl. You can't see Hailey sitting next to her. The loved it.
Jimmy on the turtles.
On the Heart ride. Of course its Pink.

This is Jimmy on the fire truck. If you listen closely you can faintly here him making siren sounds. What do you expect? He's a boy.

After the kids rode on the carnival rides we had some dinner. Typical fair fare. (Hah, Hah, I'm so funny) and then the Demolition Derby. It was okay. The drivers kept leading with there engines instead of backing into each other and the cars died very quickly. The La Schwab Tire Trucks (they were sponsoring the event) weren't four wheel drive so they couldn't tow the wrecked cars out. They best part was one car got shoved up into the hay bales and it hit a gate where the horses for the rodeo were penned. They horses didn't try to run away. They just backed into a corner and rolled there eyes a lot. So that is my birthday excitement.
